For our Data Centre Segment regional team, we are looking for a Design & Engineering Manager (Electrical). Reporting into the EMEA Director of Engineering - Data Centre Segment, in this role you will be responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of innovative data centre solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background in data centre design and a passion for driving innovation.
This role requires an influential technical leader who can drive design innovation, managing engineering teams, lead continuous improvement to enable the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and scalable data centre solutions. It offers a deep level of engineering support and direction relating to the design, build, and operation of large Data Centres. Principally, this relates to the electrical infrastructure, but extends into the overall operational technology found in the Data Centre environment.
The role requires expertise within electromechanical systems such as cooling, building management systems, energy management systems. It also requires a full appreciation of various building construction technologies and challenges. It also requires experience in the project management and supervision of build projects and the delivery of the various product technologies & services required in the Data Centre environment.
