✨ About The Role
- The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for EasyPost
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative and scalable software products
- Build new features and products for the EasyPost API while optimizing back-end services for performance
- Participate in code designs, planning meetings, and code reviews to ensure best practices in software development
- Take ownership of major API features and analyze/debug performance issues
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
- Proficient in Go, Python, and Ruby with a strong understanding of REST and HTTP/HTTPS protocols
- Skilled in integrating 3rd party APIs and optimizing back-end services for performance
- Collaborative team player with a passion for connecting and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred
