To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer (w/m/x) - 100% remote possible.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the availability, reliability, and efficiency of the entire system architecture, consisting of approximately 50 servers at Hetzner
• Maintenance and automation of the existing infrastructure, including technologies such as Ubuntu, PHP, Ruby, MySQL Percona Cluster, MinIO, Elasticsearch, Redis, NGINX, HAProxy, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Optimizing monitoring processes, conducting log file analyses, and performing error diagnostics to continuously improve system performance

Qualification

• Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Rust, Java, or Go)
• Good understanding of system automation and IT security
• Practical experience with some of the following systems: MySQL, Kubernetes, MinIO, and Elasticsearch
• You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented work style and strong communication skills
• Experience contributing to open-source technologies is desirable
