About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fund Operations Officer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of fund transactions, maintaining operational integrity, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Transaction Settlement & Fund Operations

• Coordinate with the Investment & Dealing team to gather trade settlement documents.
• Liaise with counterparties to obtain trade confirmations and required documentation.
• Prepare and send payment instructions for trades.
• Manage authorized signatures and dispatch settlement papers.
• Act as the first line of contact to resolve fund/portfolio transaction issues.
• Support fund operations management, ensuring stability and accuracy.
• Assist in implementing best practices for workflows such as trade processing, reconciliation, and NAV calculation.
• Own and track operational issues through resolution, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain documentation for automated processes.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within fund operations.

Data Input & Cash Reconciliation

• Record all trade transactions in relevant systems on the trade date.
• Accurately input non-investment transactions into the Hiport system.
• Perform regular reconciliations of fund movements and bank accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Security Custody

• Manage authorized signatures for share certificate withdrawals, submissions, and rights subscriptions.
• Coordinate with relevant parties for handling physical share/bond certificates.

Unit Pricing Support

• Collect NTR and record liquidation/creation transactions in Hiport before pricing dates.
• Follow up and input other unit pricing data as required.

Other Duties

• Maintain departmental filing systems.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned.
• Serve as backup for the line manager during absences.
