Direct Support Associate

Easterseals NH is looking for a Direct Support Associate to join our Community Based Services team! This program supports individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs living within our residential homes.

Schedule: Part time; 24 hours per week; Saturday 7a-11p & Sunday 7a-3p. Can be combined with other shifts more hours.

We also offer various scheduling options, including 3-day-per-week and full-time. Let us know what works best for you!

Pay: $22.62/hour

Opportunity to attend paid internal NADSP training to become a certified Direct Support Professional which leads to career advancement and pay increases.

About Home: Four adults (male and female) in the area of North Hampton, NH.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration
• Assisting with lifting, transferring, and mobility support
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individual’s care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience providing direct support or direct care (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
