Entry-Level Technical Support Specialist

Since creating the first construction webcam in 1996, EarthCam has been trusted on major projects like One World Trade Center, SoFi Stadium, and the Panama Canal Expansion, and integrates with tools such as Procore, Autodesk, and Bentley.

We're a collaborative, hands-on team that builds our technology in-house and works closely across departments to solve real problems for real users.

EarthCam is seeking an Entry-Level Technical Support Specialist to support and maintain camera-based and IP video systems. This role focuses on diagnosing technical issues, assisting with system functionality, and providing structured technical guidance to customers, partners, and internal teams.

The position offers hands-on exposure to hardware, software, and networking concepts, serving as a foundational role for individuals beginning a career in technical support, systems operations, or IT services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing Level 1 technical support for camera-based and IP video systems
  • Assisting with troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues
  • Responding to technical inquiries and documenting issues using ticketing systems
  • Gathering and analyzing information to identify symptoms and potential root causes
  • Following established troubleshooting procedures and escalation paths
  • Guiding users to appropriate documentation, knowledge base articles, and digital resources
  • Supporting system setup, configuration, and basic diagnostics under guidance
  • Maintaining accurate records of technical issues, actions taken, and resolutions
  • Participating in training to build knowledge of products, systems, and support standards
