Equipment Service Mechanic

The Equipment Service Mechanic performs a wide variety of activities to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment in optimal safety and functionality conditions. This role applies corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance procedures to achieve the company productivity goals.

General Responsibilities

• Installs and de-installs of manufacturing equipment.
• Leads diagnostic and repairs of various production equipment, following the best safety practices and minimizing downtime due to equipment breakdown.
• Leads preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to keep the equipment in optimal conditions.
• Works together with the Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineers to identify equipment improvements to increase their availability and/or productivity.
• Carries out the personnel's training on the use of production equipment.
• Manages the resources for the realization of preventive maintenance.
• Manages the equipment for the realization of an adequate preventive maintenance.

Experience/Qualifications

• Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
