Electrical Engineering Professional
The Electrical Engineering Professional is responsible for designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
General Responsibilities
• Creates designs within inter-disciplinary teams to address complex product design and manufacturing challenges
• Leads feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
• Develops testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, production launch
• Responsible for failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations
• Maintains product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons learned; produce design reports, test reports, operating manuals and test procedures
• Leads a team that includes senior engineers/managers for the purpose of engaging with customers in soliciting product specifications requirements, schedule expectations and budget
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

Additional Responsibilities:
Sensor Design & Development
- Research and design ultrasonic transducers and accompanying electronic circuitry for precise liquid flow measurement.
- Design and develop electrical circuits including transducer drivers, signal conditioning, and data acquisition electronics.
System Integration
- Integrate sensors into data center high density cooling system to monitor cooling loops and manifolds.
- Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams from concept to commercialization, ensuring optimized sensor hardware and firmware integration.
Signal Processing
- Develop and implement low-complexity algorithms for real-time peak detection and envelope detection to improve measurement accuracy and energy efficiency.
Validation & Testing
- Lead Design Validation Testing (DVT), Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to validate sensor performance in high-density cooling environments.
- Conduct simulation, prototyping, and validation of electrical designs under various operating conditions.
Thermal & Fluid Analysis
- Perform thermofluidic and pressure-drop analyses to ensure sensors operate reliably under varying liquid cooling demands.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with mechanical designers and vendors to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cooling infrastructure components.
- Support flow calibration processes and provide technical assistance for field installation and commissioning.
Documentation & Customer Engagement
- Maintain product documentation (drawings, specifications, lessons learned) and produce design reports, test reports, operating manuals, and test procedures.
- Support to engage with customers to solicit product specifications, schedule expectations, and budget requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- PCB Design: Proficiency in laying out high-frequency circuits and using tools like Altium or PSpice.
- Hardware Knowledge: Experience with microprocessors, mixed-signal ICs, and high-frequency magnetics.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for system modeling and algorithm verification.
- Compliance: Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and industry safety regulations for ruggedized data center environments.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving for debugging complex electronics.
- Ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation) and collaboration skills.
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Base Salary Range: $134,800-$185,350
