Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and estate planning documents.
- Manage attorneys' calendars, schedule client meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail distribution.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical case files in compliance with firm procedures.
- Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary documentation.
- Assist with client intake by collecting information, preparing forms, and setting up files.
- Draft and send engagement letters, follow up on document requests, and ensure timely responses.
- Coordinate document signing and notarization appointments.
- File legal documents with the appropriate courts and agencies.
- Track case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Prepare and organize trial and hearing materials as needed.
- Assist with time entry and billing procedures. Coordinate office supply inventory and vendor relationships.
- Support attorneys in managing workflow and prioritizing tasks efficiently.

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a legal assistant, preferably in family law and/or estate planning
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Microsoft Office Suite

Working Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Timezone
