Job Title
Attend to breakdowns of all Container Handling Equipment (QC, RTG, RMG, RS, ECH, FLTs, Substations) in a safe, fast, and efficient manner. Perform rapid fault diagnosis, restore equipment availability, and minimize operational downtime. Ensure all breakdown activities follow HSSE guidelines and safe isolation/LOTO procedures. Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency. Support the commissioning of new equipment, ensuring technical acceptance, functional testing, and integration into operations. Lead and execute refurbishment projects for aging equipment, including structural, mechanical, and electrical upgrades.
Strong expertise in breakdown analysis, troubleshooting, and restoration of key container handling equipment such as Quay Cranes (QC), Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes (RTG), Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes (RMG), Substations, Reach Stackers (RS), Empty Container Handlers (ECH), and Forklift Trucks (FLTs). Strong ability to perform and lead RCA to eliminate recurring failures and prevent future breakdowns and Skilled in interpreting MMBF, MTBF, MTTR & OEE to drive equipment reliability improvements and reduce downtime.
