Tasks And Responsibilities

  1. Act as primary on-site point-of-contact for the managed infrastructure service: coordinate between client business stakeholders, internal technical team (remote), and any on-site resources/vendors.
  2. Understand infrastructure service delivery (Windows server/AD/virtualisation) sufficiently to translate business requirements into technical tasks, monitor progress, and ensure alignment.
  3. Manage operational aspects of the service: schedule regular check-ins with the client, review KPIs and SLAs, escalate issues, coordinate change windows, downtime communications.
  4. Support and ensure hardware/software deliveries, on-site vendor visits, maintenance windows, escalations.
  5. Maintain service documentation and communicate service status to the client and internal leadership: reports, dashboards, run-books, escalation logs, meetings.
  6. Work with internal service delivery manager / remote team to develop standards, tools and process optimisations.
  7. Assist in budget/planning for the service line: feed back actuals, resource needs, margin monitoring, device count growth forecasts.
  8. Provide client-facing presentations/reports: service reviews, technical overviews, roadmap discussions.
  9. Ensure that the new service line meets margin, growth and quality targets.
