Brand New Opportunity To Build A WWTP In A Key Growth Area Of South East Queensland

Lead the construction team delivering a state-funded, greenfield wastewater treatment plant at Chambers Flat. This $350M project includes the WWTP and two conveyance pipelines servicing Park Ridge and Yarrabilba.

About the project: Logan Water has secured funding under Queensland's Residential Activation Fund to fast-track the Chambers Flat WWTP with land acquired and the design and planning well advanced. Construction is programmed to commence on treatment plant site from early 2026. You'll operate within a mature, long-term program alongside Logan Water and Alliance Partners WSP and Stantec.

The opportunity: Reporting to the Project Manager – Civil & Structures, as Senior Project Engineer - Structures you'll be responsible to leading the structures team delivering the Chambers Flat WWTP. In this role you will be responsible for driving the construction phase of the structures scope from early design involvement, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. This role will oversee, guide, and coordinate project construction activities to ensure objectives for safety, cost, schedule, quality, and environmental performance are met.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural or related) or related Construction Management tertiary qualifications and 8+ years delivering complex civil infrastructure.
• Established success delivering treatment plants or high-complexity facilities or civil projects
• Demonstrated experience in engineering roles, including prior work with leading civil contractors
• A track record of delivery in complex contracting environments—cost control, planning, risk, and stakeholder management.
