Operations Support Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for an Operations Support Coordinator. Join our team and play a key role in supporting the three contracts with administrative and operational support. Reporting to Operational Support Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

Spotless Facilities Services (a Downer Company) delivers a range of Facilities Maintenance and Management Services to New Zealand Defence Force.

What You'll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Champion Zero Harm.
  • Deliver administrative functions with quality and within agreed timeframes.
  • Develop strong, collaborative customer relationships and ensure customer interactions are positive and constructive.
  • Work constructively in a centralised team environment.
  • Champion continuous improvement.
  • Deliver all services in accordance with our Downer Values.
  • Manage workloads in accordance with business requirements and in time for month end business close out.

Important Skills (experience required)

  • A minimum 2 years' administrative experience in a busy environment.
  • A mature approach to work, coupled with an ability to demonstrate initiative.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • An ability to prioritise tasks in line with team output requirements, coupled with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written and relationship management skills.
  • Team player with a dedication to providing quality customer service.
  • Experience in working in a time pressured, KPI driven environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft application skills.
  • Experience in delivering accurate data entry and providing administrative support including processing purchase orders and invoice approvals.
  • Good problem solving skills and plenty of common sense.
  • An ability to work both autonomously and as part of the broader team.
