Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer, based in ACT to support the Land C4 Capability System (LC4CS) program.

What You'll Do

These roles offer a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including:

• Deliver Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities across acquisition, transition into sustainment, and disposal for Battlefield Telecommunications Network (BTN) and Tactical Communications Network (TCN) capabilities.
• Conduct Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), training needs analysis, and support introduction into service activities.
• Manage fleet, inventory, and asset assurance activities, including codification, cataloguing, stocktaking, and disposals using Defence logistics systems.
• Support logistics handling and custodianship of cryptographic equipment in accordance with Defence policy.
• Collaborate with engineering, configuration management, and Defence stakeholders to ensure equipment is integrated into LC4CS mission and support systems.

What You'll Bring

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant relevant industry and/or Defence logistics experience.
• Demonstrated experience with inventory management and logistics information systems, including MILIS and/or SAP/ERP.
• Experience supporting Defence or CASG materiel logistics activities (Acquisition and/or sustainment environments).
• Knowledge of Commonwealth and Defence logistics and procurement frameworks (DEFLOGMAN, ESCM, CPRs, DPPM).

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum NV1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
