Roles And Responsibilities

• Individual contributor who works using Finite Element Analysis tools to support product development, value engineering, quality etc. in a timely and cost effective manner
• Identifies structural failure modes such as stability, vibration, fatigue etc. associated with products involved using FEA tools
• Develops simulation methodologies for evaluating behavior of product assemblies and components
• Plans and conducts simulation assignments, involving several smaller and/or one major project.
• Investigate and advise on unusual and difficult problems encountered in product development & give periodic technical guidance to less experienced professionals or technicians assigned to work on a common project.

Must Have Skills

• In depth knowledge and experience of using ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS geometry/meshing modules is mandatory. Knowledge of parametric modelling techniques will be an advantage.
• Good communication (oral & written) in English
• Problem solving ability and constant drive to improve, share knowledge and ensure competency development
• Application knowledge of structural concepts like non-linear modelling, vibration, fatigue and hyper-elastic physics.
