Key Account Manager

Location: Lyon, FR

Work Arrangement: Remote

Localisation: Home-Office, ideally in the Auvergne-Rh么ne-Alpes region.

The position:

Within the Commercial Direction of the France Zone, you will join the team of Account Managers.

Your main missions:

  • As a true "conductor," you are responsible for prospecting, achieving the objectives set for you by implementing actions of targeting, presentation, negotiation, and market share capture.
  • You ensure the follow-up of the client relationship on your direct client account portfolio: account reviews, forecasts/projections (pipeline/forecast), identification and prioritization of client needs, elaboration of Group recommendations, elaboration and follow-up of offers, creation of leads and opportunities, you are the guarantor of prospecting and commercial development on these client groups throughout France.
  • You negotiate price lists, the legal part, and occasionally master agreements (national and/or European, international).
  • You establish a strong relationship with the decision-makers of your portfolio accounts (CEO, CIO, Purchasing Department, R&D, Industrial Direction, etc.) by ensuring the sustainability and profitability of these accounts through constant work on proposals, visits, and reporting. Horizontal and vertical diversification of client contacts. Identification of decision-makers and the decision-making process among prospects/clients.
  • You maximize access to the product range and strengthen our presence in the accounts (growth of market share and revenue) at the national level.
  • You initiate sales approaches of complete solutions with IT/SI managers of your groups, aiming to value our software and services activities with the support of the Solution Consultant among others. You develop and know how to present a global offer adapted to the problems of your clients in collaboration with internal pre-sales teams.
  • You analyze the strategic issues of each of your accounts and qualify their technical/commercial impacts in order to detect development axes to propose the appropriate solutions.

Experience and prerequisites:

  • Graduated from a higher education degree from BAC+3 to BAC+5 in commerce (type Higher Commerce School), you have a successful experience of at least 5 years in a similar position (Key Account Management and/or Business Development) obtained in a context of long cycles, industrial, multi-decisional, and complex.
  • Experience in the FMCG field and a soft/IT culture are highly appreciated.
  • You are comfortable with numerical analysis and data reporting through the use of CRM tools (SFDC) and Microsoft tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are used to working in project mode in the sale of global solutions with high added value.
  • Available, you are accustomed to very frequent trips on the French territory (> 75%) and some occasional trips abroad.
  • A current level of English is indispensable.

Ideal skills and know-how:

  • The sale of industrial and/or IT solutions in project mode is a plus, particularly in the fields of serialization, traceability, and brand protection.
  • Skilled negotiator, with excellent interpersonal skills, you are able to structure a commercial approach and develop a true strategic vision in the medium and long term with your prospects and clients.
  • Oriented towards results/prospecting and very motivated by performance, you also possess a strong team spirit and have the ability to convince and influence internally through very strong interactions within the organization.
  • Your dynamism, a strong desire to undertake, and your sensitivity to technical products are assets that will allow you to thrive in the long term within our company.
