Based in Landskrona, we are now looking for a Claim Lab Engineer to our production site in Landskrona. In this role, you will investigate, analyze, and document customer claims and internal nonconformities. You will also perform product and process development related investigations. You will get the opportunity to deliver advanced support and expertise within your area of competence and work in close cooperation with colleagues from Sales, R&D, and other SWEP plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate field failure claims from the global market.
• Upon request, investigate line failure claims from all SWEP plants and perform internal investigations from our plants and other functions.
• Coordinate advanced external investigations including definition of scope.
• Work with engineering, production, or other functions to determine the root cause of failure and suggest corrective actions.
• Write investigation reports.
• Develop analysis methods to improve the claim lab’s competence, capacity, and overall performance.

Your background:

We believe you have a background within mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience, including welding, forklift, and overhead crane certificates. You have a solid BPHE knowledge, both about the product (application and systems, design, material, metallurgy, corrosion, fatigue) and the manufacturing process. Furthermore, you are confident in using software systems as MS office and other relevant business systems. You also need to be fluent in English since you will have a lot of global contacts and write investigation reports in English.
