Machine And Plant Operator In Textile Technology

The training as a machine and plant operator in the field of textile technology is a recognized apprenticeship according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG) and lasts 2 years. The lessons at the relevant vocational school take place in Balingen, where accommodation is also available for our trainees.
Duties
- You work on machines and plants for the production of textile products such as clothing items and household textiles.
- Before production begins, you check the order documents, set up the machines, and prepare the necessary materials (e.g. yarns).
- You set up the machines and plants, put them into operation, and operate them.
- During production, you monitor the quality and process flow and make corrections if necessary.
- You take care of the regular maintenance of the machines by refilling oil and lubricants and replacing wear parts (e.g. seals, filters).
Qualification
- You have technical understanding and manual skills.
- Your accuracy and attention to detail distinguish you.
- You have good comprehension and a high degree of reliability.
- You like to work in a team and bring a good team spirit with you.
- You have a good primary or secondary school diploma.
- You are resident in Germany.

After attending a vocational high school, you can also study mechanical engineering.
