About the Role

As Strategy & Operations Manager for DoorDash for Business, you'll help pilot and scale new product features that help improve quality of deliveries - ensuring they are on-time, accurate, labeled with names, and that we have options for customers when orders are canceled. This involves improving the experience for clients, dashers and merchants from end to end. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to build and operationalize testing and go-to-market plans, collect insights from our core audiences and ultimately help design and execute a comprehensive plan to improve quality for DoorDash for Business. You will wear many different hats in the role from support, analytics, working with product and more. You will report to the Senior Manager Strategy & Operations, DoorDash For Business - Quality.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Strategize – Devise and execute initiatives against the overall strategy for “achieving best in class quality " for our customers
  • Experiment – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run tests and lead product/ feature improvement efforts
  • Optimize – Work with product and engineering teams to continue to optimize existing tools that help improve quality
  • Analyze – Build models to evaluate the economics, patterns and help make data driven decisions
  • Execute - Develop and execute test plans and initiatives that drive improvement in merchant and dasher quality.
  • Collaborate – Manage cross-functional projects with our sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, business operations and business development teams to improve the merchant, dasher and client experience.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 6+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; direct management experience, high-growth startup (scaling a business from 0 - 1) experience is preferred
  • You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
  • You are an excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; intermediate SQL experience strongly preferred
  • You are customer obsessed - whether that is our clients, merchants or dashers and comfort talking / working with people from all walks of life
  • You’re unafraid of ambiguity.  You don’t need a playbook. You dive into difficult problems and come up with a plan. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you.
