Key Accountabilities
- Strategic Automation & Project Leadership: Accountable for the development and execution of the plant's automation roadmap and digital transformation strategy. This includes identifying, prioritizing, and managing new automation projects, new product development, and cost reduction projects from conception through to full implementation and handover, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Technical Excellence & Innovation: Accountable for maintaining a high level of technical competency within the engineering department. This involves staying abreast of the latest Industry 4.0 technologies, introducing innovative solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to optimize manufacturing processes and equipment. The role also includes managing and maintaining the technical standards of all engineering work and equipment.
- Operational & Production Engineering: Accountable for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of all manufacturing processes. This includes performing production capacity assessments to meet business demands and overseeing the Industrial Engineering function to optimize layouts, workflows, and productivity.
- Team Leadership & Development: Accountable for leading, mentoring, and developing the engineering team. This includes setting clear performance expectations, conducting performance reviews, and identifying training needs to ensure the team possesses the necessary skills to manage and maintain advanced automation systems.
- Budget & Resource Management: Accountable for managing the engineering department's budget, including capital expenditure for new projects and operational expenses. This involves meticulous planning, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Qualification & Requirements
Education Qualification:
- B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Physics or related fields.
- At least 10-years experience in DD or Electronic field.
