We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Manufacturing Engineer to lead engineering projects from design through production. This role combines project management responsibilities with hands-on CAD software and manufacturing engineering expertise. You will work cross-functionally with design, production, and quality teams to ensure product manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Baldwin, WI facility.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering and manufacturing projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop project timelines, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery of milestones.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between engineering, production, and external vendors/customers.
  • Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for components and assemblies.
  • Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability
  • Maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, revision history, and change orders.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Specify tools, fixtures, and equipment needed for efficient production.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree
  • PMP certification or formal project management training.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
