Donaldson is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team at the Donaldson BOFA Staunton office. This hands-on, customer-facing role is critical in supporting both our first-fit and aftermarket filtration equipment and systems. In this role, you will respond to technical inquiries via phone and email, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and support both mechanical and electrical service needs. You'll work closely with the site Operations Manager and collaborate with internal and external customers. When not actively engaged in service calls, you'll assist with inventory, processing equipment, and preparing products for shipment. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional service. This is an on-site position that will be based out of Staunton, IL.

Role Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical inquiries (phone/email) related to first-fit and aftermarket filtration products.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on equipment and systems.
• Train customers on usage, maintenance, and basic repair procedures.
• Support warehouse operations, including processing units, hose kits, and aftermarket products.
• Operate forklifts and lift equipment (certification provided by Donaldson).
• Assist in loading/unloading freight shipments; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Process warranty claims and coordinate replacement parts.
• Enforce and promote safety practices at all times.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset in all interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Customer Service experience
• Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in technical service, installation, or repair.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical/professional certification.
• HVAC, air pumps and electrical experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in general industrial maintenance or field service roles.
• Knowledge of air compressors, industrial ventilation, electric motors, and three-phase power systems.
• Familiarity with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Forklift experience (certification provided if needed).
• Highly motivated, organized, and dependable.

Hourly Pay Range: $24.08 - $30.09 per hour, depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.

This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
