General Summary: The Lead Team Member helps maintain a clean, well-organized store and creates a customer-first culture through exceptional store standards.
Duties and Essential Job Functions: Provides superior customer service, models product knowledge, maintains a safe and clean store environment, assists in merchandising, completes daily and weekly cleaning responsibilities, operates cash register, assists customers in self-checkout, and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills, understanding of safety policies, ability to read and follow guidelines, mathematical skills, knowledge of cash register functions, knowledge of cash, facility, and safety control policies, high school diploma or equivalent, and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 40 pounds, occasional lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing, ability to drive own vehicle, fast-paced environment, exposure to strong scents, occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, occasionally exposed to wet floor surfaces, occasionally exposed to cleaning solutions.
