We are looking for a dedicated individual to function as a cashier and/or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the store manager or assistant store manager. The role will involve assisting in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs, providing exemplary customer service, and performing other duties to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets and reducing losses.
Key responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, restocking returned and recovered merchandise, assisting in plan-o-gram implementation, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing superior customer service leadership. The position requires adherence to company policies and procedures and the ability to perform mathematical calculations, handle cash, and follow safety policies and practices.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with six months of supervisory experience preferred. The role involves frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling, as well as handling and lifting merchandise up to 40 pounds, occasional lifting up to 55 pounds, and occasional driving for bank deposits and management meetings.
