Packager Role

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading verification solutions provider in Watertown, SD. We are seeking candidates for Packager roles. Compensation for these contract opportunities ranges between $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Interested? Read below for more information!

What a Packager will do:

• Install lamps, tape lamps, silicone lips and rigid faces
• Operate air staplers and nail gun
• Operate forklift and crane
• Weigh and measure finished crate
• Load trucks as necessary
• Assist in taking signs to and from storage
• Check out all frames and record on prepackaging check sheet, UL’s and Sign Company stickers
• Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all safety practices, rules and standards throughout each working day
• Record necessary data i.e.: materials used, timecards, etc.
• Read and understand job packet
• Maintain assigned equipment

What you need to be a Packager:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience is a plus
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform simple math i.e.: %, angles, radius, sq. ft., etc.
• Basic hand tool knowledge
