Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Edina, MN. We are seeking candidates for Operator roles. Compensation for this opportunity is $20.26 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What You’ll Do As An Operator:

• Follow all procedures and standard work documents
• Use a computer to regularly check emails, MOCs (Management of Change process), and complete assigned learning management system training
• Complete an I-Card (pre-task hazard assessment) daily prior to executing work
• Manage product queues ensuring manufacturing equipment runs smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain high quality product standards as outlined in procedures and product specifications
• Identify and escalate issues by using strong communication skills
• Utilize material handling equipment to load raw materials onto the manufacturing equipment
• Unload finished products from the manufacturing equipment using a forklift
• Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards
• Solve basic problems using mathematic skills, with or without calculator

What You Need To Be An Operator:

• Ability to read and navigate Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) panels
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to review and comprehend product drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), specification sheets, Safety Data Sheets, troubleshooting guides, and other associated job aids
• Ability to pull with forces up to 82 pounds and push forces up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to grasp and pull materials, tools, and equipment; work with arms below or above shoulder level; and bend and stretch torso with or without reasonable accommodations
• Aptitude to work safely around moving equipment, including those with sharp blades, high-speed rotating parts, and potential pinch points
