Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Support Technician for a manufacturing company in Chanhassen, MN. In this role, you’ll support two manufacturing buildings located across the street from one another by performing hands-on facility maintenance and preventative maintenance activities. What You’ll Do as a Facilities Maintenance Support Technician:

• Perform general facility maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry, and janitorial work
• Assist with maintaining and servicing HVAC/heat pumps, filtration systems, lighting, cooling towers, and chemical water treatment
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems prior to placing service calls
• Repair and maintain facility components such as flooring, roofing, locks, door hardware, and security systems
• Install, move, and remove equipment, furniture, and fixtures between buildings
• Coordinate with and support outside contractors, including lawn care and snow removal vendors
• Maintain tools, parts, supplies, and a clean, safe work area

What You Need to Bring to the Facilities Maintenance Support Technician Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and write basic English
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple work requests
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Facilities or maintenance experience preferred (manufacturing, industrial, property management, hotel, or apartment environments a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and perform physical work for up to 8 hours
• Comfortable working outdoors as needed and in varying conditions
• Ability to work overtime as required
