Customer Service Representative

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a global manufacturer of premium hand tools located in Monticello, MN. We are seeking candidates for Customer Service Representative roles on the 1st shift. Hours for this shift are from 7:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday. What a Customer Service Representative will do:

  • Engage with customers via email to provide pricing, availability, and lead times
  • Proactively assist customers by identifying products that meet their needs and address any concerns
  • Engage with customers via email to provide order status, including tracking information or estimated ship dates
  • Work with operations to expedite or troubleshoot orders as needed
  • Enter and validate customer purchase orders
  • Communicate discrepancies in price, order multiples, or other account requirements
  • Work collaboratively with customers to resolve issues
  • Maintain thorough records of customer interactions in the CRM, including inquiries, resolutions, and follow-ups
  • Develop familiarity with other areas of customer solutions
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the overall objectives of the team

What it takes to become a Customer Service Representative:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience or a related field
  • Proven experience in customer service roles, demonstrating the ability to engage with customers via email effectively
  • Proficient in Office 365, especially Excel. Strong ability to manage data and use spreadsheets effectively
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute with accuracy, ensuring efficient documentation and communication
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems is preferred; experience with Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot is a plus
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
