Sales Development Representative

As a Sales Development Representative at Docusign, you will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads through targeted questions to customers with the goal of qualifying as many opportunities as possible to pass on to the Account Executives. You will receive hands-on training with an emphasis on strategic selling and a focus on researching targeted accounts. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Sales Development.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage a high volume of inbound leads and discern propensity to buy and forward good potential leads to the Sales Account Executives to pursue
  2. Share information about Docusign and ask questions about the prospect's business intentions
  3. Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
  4. Record prospect information in CRM database

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic

  • BA/BS degree or relevant tertiary qualification
  • 1+ years of Sales or customer service experience
  • Native level of Japanese

Preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, strong drive, resilience and humility
  • Inquisitive nature, ability to gather information and formulate an action plan to connect business needs to solutions
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take initiative and manage time optimally
  • Communication skills in English
