Sr Network Engineering - Coppell, TX - Onsite only Pay Rate – As per Market Experience – 10+ Yrs

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in Cisco WANLAN Technologies, Firewall and Security systems, Load Balancing and Data Center Networking.
• Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems Design, implement, and support a Cisco centric WAN, LAN, and WLAN environment.
• This includes routers, firewalls, security, wireless, LAN switching, and Nexus Data Center.
• Helps maintain proper use of network monitoring systems Implement and push firewall rules, Configure LTM, F5 pool etc.
• Run application performance and packet analysis using Wireshark.
• Support site to site VPNs and client VPN solutions.
• Work with emerging technologies such as SD-WAN or Data Center products.
• Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of case notes, Knowledge base and network diagrams.
• Assist with Voice over IP implementation and support.
• Follow proper change management processes and escalation procedures.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, accurate and courteous service.
• Engage vendors and carriers as required to assist in troubleshooting or implementation of network solutions.
• Assist in the development of documentation and SOPs for the department.
• Assist other team members with special projects and technology rollouts.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations if required and flexible for over the night and or weekend activities.

Additional Skills:

• Team Management, Working with customers Architects and Principal Engineer.
• This position is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WLAN, WAN, TCPIP, DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, QoS, and VoIP.
• Installation and maintenance of hardware, software, troubleshooting and security.
• Provide high-level technical support for data network systems, creates, and maintains network documentation.
• Versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
• This position requires excellent troubleshooting, problem management and customer service skills.
