The West Vancouver Transit Department is now accepting applications for a Casual Transit Service Coordinator I. Reporting to the Transit Service Coordinator II, this position is responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of drivers and buses to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Transit services. The preferred candidate is familiar with the North Shore and surrounding area, and possesses Grade 12 education supplemented by computer, and customer service courses or a combination of education and practical experience in a similar environment. Relevant experience in a public transit or charter bus dispatching would be considered an asset. A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence is required.

Position Status: Union (WVMEA) – Casual
Hours of Work: Up to 25 hours per week. Hours and days of work may vary and may include weekends, evenings, and early mornings based on operational needs.
Starting Rate of Pay: $38.51 per hour plus 14% in lieu of benefits
