Freelance Project Manager

We're seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns and initiatives. This remote-friendly contract role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on keeping complex, multi-stakeholder projects on track and delivering exceptional results on time.

We are a Digital Marketing agency, based in NYC, with enterprise-level clients across a variety of categories. To succeed in this role, agency and paid media experience are essential. This role is M-F 9:30am-6pm aligned with the East Coast time zone.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of project management experience in marketing, advertising, or digital agencies
• Proven track record managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Strong understanding of marketing campaign development and execution processes
• Experience with project management platforms (ClickUp, Asana, Monday, Basecamp, etc.)

Essential Skills:

• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage urgent requests
• Comfortable working independently while maintaining team collaboration
• Adaptability to work with various personalities and work styles
• Advanced proficiency in project management software
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting
• Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms preferred
• Experience with file sharing and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
• Basic understanding of digital marketing processes and terminology
