As a Responsible Trade Marketing (Pôle Luxe) in the CHR channel, you will play a key role in implementing and driving strategic priorities for Diageo’s portfolio of luxury spirits.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams as well as external partners, including the most prestigious accounts in the CHR universe. The real impact of this position lies in the ability to create alliances and activate synergies across all luxury categories, in order to generate profitable and sustainable growth, driven by excellence in market execution.

You will be responsible for executing the luxury strategy in the French market, with the objective of growing the business and strengthening our market leadership position in segments of whisky, vodka, rum, tequila, gin, and other premium categories.

About the role:

  • Responsible for the growth of market share of Diageo’s luxury brands.
  • Collaborate with the regional Luxury Marketing team to co-build and deploy a successful and market-adapted luxury strategy, as well as exemplary execution.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align business strategies and ensure optimal execution across all luxury categories.
  • Work with Brand Ambassadors to develop and deploy a plan of excellence prescription, aiming to strengthen the recommendation and visibility of our brands.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial partners and agencies to identify and activate growth levers for Diageo.
  • Lead the collaboration and activation strategy with key accounts of the luxury CHR network (hotels, palaces, gourmet restaurants, premium bars) to deploy our luxury brands on a large scale.
  • Enhance the aspiration around the luxury universe and encourage the presence of Diageo’s portfolio with a relevant selection and by creating exceptional consumption experiences.
  • Exploit market/client data and insights to identify opportunities and growth levers for brands, starting with whisky before covering all luxury categories.
  • Mobilize local and regional cross-functional teams to ensure exemplary luxury execution in the French market. (Repetition with the information above)
  • Lead the activation plans for strategic accounts benefiting from commercial agreements (JUBP partners).
  • Collaborate with the Luxury Marketing and Shopper Marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and provide dedicated tools and supports for luxury.
  • Ensure compliance with the most stringent standards in terms of compliance, control, risk management, and governance.

Your profile:

  • At least 5 years of confirmed experience in strategy, management, and execution of luxury brands or in client marketing, ideally in the French market.
  • Strategic vision – ability to drive innovative thinking and identify growth opportunities.
  • Commercial sense – P&L responsibility, ability to achieve exceptional results and ensure rigorous execution.
  • Passion for the luxury sector – curiosity and enthusiasm for the luxury spirits market, with the ability to follow trends and offer successful luxury experiences.
  • Strong network and ability to build solid relationships, with effective influence and leadership skills both internally and externally.
  • Excellent analytical skills – capable of synthesizing data and generating actionable insights.
  • Agility and rigor – ability to evolve effectively in a dynamic matrix organization.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to convey clear, concise, and convincing messages in French and English.
