This role sits within the Global Business Operations (GBO) Procurement Operations team and is accountable for delivering sourcing excellence across a broad portfolio of Global Indirect categories. As the Global Indirect Manager, you will act as the Sourcing Lead within Procurement Operations, owning the end-to-end execution of sourcing activities across categories including Data & Technology, Professional Services, Utilities, Legal, Travel & Expense, Facilities Management and Staff-related costs. In addition, you will lead a globally distributed team, driving performance, capability, and engagement while ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across region.
You will work in close partnership with Global Category teams and Market Indirect stakeholders to translate category strategies into effective sourcing delivery, ensuring value creation, compliance, and operational efficiency aligned to Diageo's procurement ambition. This role requires strong commercial capability, stakeholder influence, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, global, and matrixed environment.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global team within GBO Procurement Operations. Set clear objectives and performance expectations aligned to functional and business priorities. Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across geographically dispersed teams. Build team capability across sourcing, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management. Provide regular feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to support career growth. Ensure effective resource allocation and workload management across regions and categories. Foster an inclusive and engaging team environment that reflects Diageo's values and leadership standards. Enable knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across global and market teams.

Significant experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, with exposure to indirect spend categories. Proven track record in managing complex sourcing projects across multiple geographies. Experience working across categories such as Technology, Professional Services, Facilities, or Travel & Expense is preferred. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with the ability to deliver measurable value. Experience operating in a global, matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with procurement systems, digital tools, and data-driven decision-making.
