More than selling, our Sales team is responsible for creating memorable experiences, translating global strategies into local actions that generate real impact. We work collaboratively with different areas of the company, connecting market intelligence, innovation, and excellence in execution.

The Trade Marketing area is a strategic pillar for enhancing the results of the Sales area at Diageo, ensuring that the entire commercial operation is agile, efficient, and aligned with compliance guidelines. Its role goes far beyond support: it structures processes, automates flows, and ensures that the strategies defined by marketing are implemented with excellence in the sales points.

In the Off Trade channel – which includes supermarkets, hypermarkets, cash & carry, and retail stores – the role of Trade Marketing is decisive in transforming plans into execution, ensuring adequate visibility of our brands and creating experiences that influence the shopper’s purchasing decision.

By connecting commercial intelligence with execution at the point of sale, Trade Marketing adds value to the business, strengthens the presence of our brands, and ensures that each interaction with the consumer reflects the legacy and quality of Diageo. This synergy with Sales is what allows us to not only compete but lead in the market, offering solutions that meet the needs of customers and delight consumers.

Your main challenges will be:

  • Transforming data into strategy: Plan the NSV and define commercial investments by region, ensuring that each decision is driven by intelligence and impact on the business.
  • Building plans that make things happen: Co-create with the Sales team commercial plans that maximize sell-out, expand market share, and elevate execution KPIs, connecting strategic vision with the reality of the point of sale.
  • Being the radar of performance: Monitor results and perform precise diagnostics to anticipate opportunities and correct routes with agility.
  • Translating metrics into action: Track business and execution KPIs, ensuring that each indicator tells a clear story about performance and evolution.
  • Governing with responsibility: Manage the budget and control the commercial spend (TS), ensuring that each investment generates return and is aligned with the company’s priorities.
  • Ensuring compliance without losing pace: Safeguard the controls and compliance with payment policies alongside the Sales team, maintaining solid and secure processes to support growth.

What do we expect?

  • Solid experience in areas such as Commercial, Marketing, or Trade Marketing, with a history of strategic action and execution at the point of sale.
  • Complete higher education in Administration, Marketing, or related fields, with a strong strategic and analytical foundation.
  • Advanced proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and advanced-level Excel for data analysis and management.
  • Knowledge of market tools such as Scanntech, Nielsen, and Neogrid, applying insights for decision-making.
  • Affinity with concepts of execution at the point of sale, ensuring excellence in the implementation of brand strategies.
  • Analytical ability to interpret performance data and transform information into effective action plans.
  • Effective communication with different stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration between areas.
  • Management capacity to lead teams and coordinate multiple projects and scopes simultaneously, maintaining focus on results.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model, 2-3 times a week, in our office located in Vila Olímpia, São Paulo-SP.
