Salary Range $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (experience-based compensation)

Position Summary: The Comp Service Supervisor oversees all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, including complimentary services and banquets. This role ensures the achievement of financial goals, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. The supervisor will lead the team in delivering exceptional service, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position requires a proactive approach to managing daily operations, addressing guest feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure that the level of quality and presentation meets or exceeds standards daily.
  • Personally respond to all guests' comments and complaints to ensure timely resolution.
  • Train staff on job competencies and ensure they are aware of hotel policies and procedures, including service standards for the hotel and guest brand standards for service and cleanliness.
  • Monitor the department daily to ensure all brand requirements are met in both the kitchen area and the front of the house.
  • Review standards to ensure the department operates in accordance with brand and hotel requirements.
  • Address staff inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Responsible for training, supervising, and monitoring food sanitation and safety procedures in the kitchen and dining area.
  • Collaborate with the sales and housekeeping departments to ensure banquets are handled in accordance with BEO requirements and to guests' satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire employees to meet and exceed standards and guest expectations.
  • Responsible for the training, management, development, and evaluation of all food and beverage employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel and brand policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous food & beverage experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Certificate in Food Sanitation is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certified food handler.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Ability to motivate and train employees in guest services.
