As a Security Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible of:

• Managing setup of physical HW servers up to OS level
• Racking the server HW into the racks
• Running the metallic and fiber cabling inside the rack with cable management
• Server HW spare part replacement
• Preparation of the training material for the HW server racking and commissioning
• Operation and support of the training staging room with testing HW kits
• Leading and managing training sessions with server racking and spare part replacement
• Operation of direct rack-mounted liquid cooling system in the training center
• Close collaboration with DC Facility and Server commissioning teams
• Support of the white glove services inside the data centers
• Delivery Management Maintenance of HW spare parts
• Managing HW upgrades/downgrades
• Managing door-to-floor HW delivery to DC (servers/racks), 3rd party vendor management
• Troubleshooting issues if they appear
• Risk and Impact assessment for infrastructure changes
• Setup and maintenance of templates and respective workflows
• DC capacity analysis, planning and reporting
• Additional support on big programs with new HW in scope
• Support proposal management with respect to HW to be offered
• Optimal use of the system resources from a cost and performance perspective
• Coaching HW requestors

As a Security Commissioning Engineer, the ideal candidate would have these requirements:

• Strong coordination skills among multiple technical/project teams
• Flexibility
• Team spirit
• Strong communication skills
• Proven experience within an Infrastructure support role
• Ability to compare technical requirements and make appropriate recommendations
• Knowledge of ITIL and ability to apply to practice
• Strong knowledge of server HW (HP / IBM/ DELL), network and SAN systems
• Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities as required under tight timeframes
• Results oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on high quality project delivery

Experience:

• 4+ years IT experience
• 4+ years Linux and Windows experience
• IT System and/or database optimization experience
• 4+ years of IT HW handling experience
• 4+ years of Spare Part replacement and IT HW trouble shooting

Technical Skills:

• Technical engineering background with IT HW expertise
• Power and Cooling technology knowledge
• Mechanical and Electrical engineering
• Semiconductor and electronic knowledge
