DHL Express currently has an opening for a Sales Operations Specialist in our Mississauga, ON office. The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely rate quotes for ad-hoc shipments weighing 50 kgs or more. This role involves managing the GSRT desk that serves the sales team, ensuring a seamless and efficient quoting process while minimizing errors. The specialist will also explore opportunities to grow revenue through spot quotes and work towards channeling all country quotes through the GSRT desk. Additionally, the role includes identifying and implementing process automation solutions to enhance the sales experience.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
Rate Quoting
- Provide accurate and competitive rate quotes for ad-hoc shipments of 50 kgs and above.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and respond promptly to quoting requests.
GSRT Desk Management
- Oversee the GSRT desk operations, ensuring efficient handling of sales inquiries and rate quotes.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and communication with internal stakeholders.
Error Minimization
- Identify common sources of errors within the quoting process and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular reviews of quoting procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Revenue Growth
- Explore and develop strategies to increase revenue through spot quotes.
- Work towards channeling all country quotes through the GSRT desk to streamline operations and maximize revenue potential.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generate reports on quoting activities, error rates, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the quoting process.
