• Responsible for obtaining all overflight and landing permits/rights for DHL Air's worldwide operations and supplying the information to the Flight Operations Team to execute the flight
• Maintain and update the various FAOC's held globally
• Produce monthly reports for US Port Authority invoicing
• Be close to all aspects of traffic rights and regulations
• Liaise with OCC regarding schedule changes and impact on permits/permissions
• Take lead for mid-term Network change requests
• Ensure all permissions are held for flights into/out of the EU block
• Preferred proven flight operations experience, with a clear understanding of permit requirements and the various processes to obtain them
• A thorough understanding of A/C documentation
• A proactive working mentality with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy to the highest of levels
• A general understanding of the flight operations procedures
• Previous experience in airport slot requests, overflight application procedures would be preferable
• Hold five GCSE's at grade 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English
• A strong working knowledge of MS Office packages including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook
• The right to work in the UK
• Able to work occasional weekends to meet business demands
• Customer service focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A "hands-on" people person with a flair and maturity for working in a dynamic and responsible position
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
• The ability to work under pressure with flexibility for the Operational needs
• Excellent team working skills with the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels
