Field Sales Specialist

Location: Bogotá

Purpose: To acquire new clients for international cargo management, enabling the achievement and exceedance of the established sales budget.

  • Construction of portfolio primarily through the attraction of new clients with an annual turnover exceeding Eur. 51,000, qualified within the BC segment.
  • Increase the share of wallet of existing clients through the development of additional business.
  • Manages the pipeline through the acquisition of new, additional, or existing opportunities.
  • Increases the participation of clients in the sector and product where specialized.
  • Advises and creates innovative, integral logistics solutions based on our organization's products and services.
  • Informs the client of market changes to advise on the best logistics solution.
  • Collects necessary information for managing a tender (RFI/RFP/RFQ), informs the organization, and ensures the process is carried out effectively.
  • Implements and ensures that new and additional businesses have a correct entry process into the organization and that each area understands what it must do to be successful.
  • Updates contracts, SOP & pertinent client information in the CRM (Sales 360), PAM, and related credit limit documentation.
  • Communicates to the organization through the system the client's voice when presenting a complaint or claim.
  • Analyzes and segments its client portfolio correctly to know potential. Communicates to its Manager in time and form the opportunities with potential and proactively requests reassignment or discard of non-potential or detractors clients.
  • Ensures in the sales process the validation with pharmaceutical sector clients of the cargo handling conditions for correct implementation, in accordance with thermonet guidelines.
  • Supports in the management of the portfolio of clients with credit.
  • Provides advice and follow-up in accordance with the guidelines of products with farm operation, guaranteeing the knowledge and skills necessary for the accompaniment in the operation and other functions and responsibilities assigned to its role.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Professional in Foreign Trade, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Dominance of the English language (desirable).
  • Experience in international freight agencies minimum 2 years.
  • Persuasion capacity.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capacity.
  • Commercial vision.
  • Customer Centricity

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge and skill in international cargo sales minimum of 2 years.
  • Direct & telephone communication skills with excellent personal presentation.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify client needs, build a value proposition, and cultivate the relationship.
  • Capacity for the creation of innovative, integral logistics solutions.
  • Decision-making ability.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capacity.
  • Future vision with motivation for innovation - Good understanding of the products and services offered by the organization.

  • Excellent in writing, presentation & assertive verbal & written communication skills.
