RCS Grade: K

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia. This will be a hybrid position. Working 3 days in office, 2 days from home

We're looking for an ambitious Country Sales Manager to join our growing DFN sales organisation at an exciting stage of its evolution. You'll take ownership of a portfolio of around 10 active customer opportunities at any one time, managing relationships and driving results through regular customer engagement. This is a hands on, tactical role with significant exposure to customers, where you'll be solving day today challenges, progressing opportunities and turning conversations into successful outcomes. The core purpose of the role is to identify and close new business with small to medium sized eCommerce customers, playing a key role in our inbound lead management and transactional sales approach. You'll be at the forefront of DFN's growth, building strong foundations with customers and contributing directly to the expansion of our network. What are the Key Accountabilities?

  • Starting "lead" generation through digital and social selling by utilizing the Salesforce CRM lead queue to qualify inbound leads.
  • Converting leads into real sales opportunities and owning them until they become business won (e.g. owning SF.com process, contract preparation).
  • Building relationships with, for example, eCS/DHL Express to contribute to cross-business unit lead exchanges through regular exchanges with XBU points of contact in the sales community
  • Managing up to 10 "live" opportunities at any given time in our Salesforce CRM form early lead stage of an opportunity through to winning and closing an opportunity.
  • With a Sales Leader (RCS Grade I) eventually in the structure, this role will likely be responsible for analysing early leads and collating data on them for the Sales Leader. This is a longer term key task expectation.
  • Acting as commercial point of contact to capture structural customer data needed for pricing and proposal creation.
  • Working closely with marketing to improve digital marketing campaign effectiveness using specific single country insights to help support decision making.
  • Establishing DHL Supply Chain and the DHL Fulfilment Network in the local eCommerce community.
  • Fostering operational relationships with DHL sites and sales people across business units by visiting relevant operational sites and engaging in regular meetings with the local DHL Supply Chain Sales community (where applicable). A key task in this role is very likely to be a reasonable level of local country travel to help achieve these relationships.
  • Through fostering these operational relationships, this role will also act as local change manager (where necessary) to help sites establish new ways of working within DHL Fulfilment Network standards.

What are we looking for from you? We're looking for a collaborative, commercially minded sales professional with experience in consultative selling, preferably within eCommerce. You'll bring strong communication skills, the ability to manage and close multiple opportunities, and an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the business within a developing market. Knowledge of eCommerce models, market trends, and fulfilment or last mile operations is advantageous, with experience in B2C or logistics environments a plus.

• Knowledge of Fulfillment & Last Mile Operations

• Process-oriented with structural and collaborative approach

• Knowledge and experience within the Supply Chain environment - essential

• Working experience in B2C company or within a logistics provider are beneficial
