Other duties may be assigned outside of the following duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate application and allocation of funds onto customer accounts, including processing of Direct Debits, Faster Payments, Chaps, Bacs and Cheque payments across multiple currencies
• Meet the intra-day deadlines for tasks set out by the Cash Operations Manager
• Process payments out of our bank accounts for our customers across the Commercial and Retail branches following requests for funding or return of funds
• Reconcile between our core system and our bank accounts ensuring balances are correct on a daily basis and liaising with the wider business to resolve any outstanding issues
• Investigating unapplied payments and chasing for timely responses from the relevant stakeholders in order to minimize the amount we are holding
• Represent Cash Operations in cross-functional projects providing specialist insight for improvements
• Full working knowledge and adherence to all SOPs necessary to complete tasks required for effective delivery of department objectives
• Any other task requested by line manager that is required to assist in the smooth running of the department and necessary to meet customer needs
