Responsibilities:

  • Develop mechatronic assemblies spanning entire robot stack, from motor controllers to sensing and data acquisition utilizing Python and C+
  • Develop and implement Ethercat System Real Time Controls base and related verification and validation test protocols, including UDP, TCP/IP and CAN
  • Onsite customer technical support
  • Troubleshoot/debug electromechanical system and robots; and Work with warehouse autonomous mobile vehicles.
  • Travel 4x per year to customer sites in Tracy, CA and Seattle, WA.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, or foreign degree equivalent; plus 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer and/or Product Support Engineer and/or Mechatronics Engineer in robotics engineering design and integration services.
  • Experience must include: Coding in Python and C++; Ethercat System Controls protocol; Networking protocols: UDP, TCP/IP and CAN
  • Troubleshooting/debugging electromechanical system and robots; and Working with warehouse autonomous mobile robots.

$166,566 - $200,000 a year Base pay is one element of our Total Rewards package which may also include comprehensive benefits and equity etc., depending on eligibility. The annual base salary range for this position is from $166,566 to $200,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as years of relevant experience, skills, education etc. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
