We invite a Senior Automation Engineer passionate about modernizing manufacturing systems and driving innovation to join our team. In this role, you'll upgrade automation systems, design and build SCADA/HMI workflows, and integrate legacy platforms with modern technologies. You'll also lead a team of skilled engineers, sharing your expertise and guiding projects to success.

Is that you?
• 8-10 years of experience in industrial automation/control system engineering
• Hands-on expertise with Ignition and Tatsoft for building SCADA, HMI, and automation solutions
• Strong understanding of real-time control systems, PLCs, OEE, and MQTT (Levels 1-3)
• Proven experience designing and developing software for manufacturing technology stacks
• Ability to lead engineering projects, make technical decisions, and guide the team
• Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
• Adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to transparency and integrity
Desirable:
• Python, Jython, or C# experience
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or SQL Server
• Exposure to AI/ML-based predictive automation (Litmus, TensorFlow)
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar
• Experience with CODESYS or other industrial automation platforms
• Experience automating EHS processes
• Experience training teams on Industry 4.0/manufacturing solutions
Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you'll help modernize manufacturing systems by designing, building, and integrating automation solutions that connect legacy and new technologies.
• Design, build, and maintain SCADA and HMI workflows using Ignition & Tatsoft
• Support SCADA integration across distributed manufacturing systems
• Commission and troubleshoot systems in real-world manufacturing environments
• Work with engineering and operations teams to streamline and reduce manual workflows
• Provide leadership as needed, taking accountability for results, wins/losses, and lessons learned
• Contribute to modernization initiatives by integrating legacy and modern technologies
