Intermediate Test Automation Engineer

We invite a talented and proactive Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll build and maintain high-quality automated and manual tests for backend and API services. You'll work on an exciting project in the dynamic Point of Sale (POS) space, collaborating closely with a renowned fintech industry player.

Is that you?

• 3-5 years of experience in test automation with Java
• Strong background in API testing and automation (REST Assured, Postman, or similar)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and version control systems (Git/GitHub)
• Experience performing manual testing of backend or middleware systems
• Experience testing UI components
• Solid understanding of test design techniques and testing levels
• Experience creating, maintaining, and updating test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively suggest improvements
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Upper-Intermediate+ English level

Desirable:

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Familiarity with Allure Report or other test reporting tools
• Previous experience in the Point of Sale (POS) domain

Key responsibilities and your contribution:

In this role, you'll apply your skills to build and maintain high-quality automated and manual tests for backend systems, API services, and UI components.

• Collaborate with QA leads, product managers, and engineers to ensure robust test coverage
• Design, implement, and maintain automated API tests in Java
• Perform manual testing of backend and middleware systems
• Perform testing of UI components as needed
• Maintain test documentation, including test cases and bug reports
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test environments
• Identify gaps in coverage, proactively suggesting improvements to existing processes and tools
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning and promoting quality best practices
