About the Role

T-Systems is building AI capabilities to make engineers work faster and safer. We are hiring a Technical Product Owner to lead our AI-for-engineers product suite, which includes agentic coding assistants, intelligent code search, and automated test generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Ownership: Own the strategy, roadmap, and backlog for AI developer tools such as coding assistants, doc Q&A, and PR summarization.
• Discovery & Requirements: Translate developer needs into clear user stories and run discovery sessions with engineering teams and power users.
• Adoption: Drive tool adoption via pilots, training, and enablement champions.
• Technical Partnership: Partner with ML and platform teams to optimize performance, cost, and inference options (cloud vs. on-prem).
• Market Intelligence: Continuously scan the AI landscape for new models and IDE integrations to update the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in product ownership/management or engineering leadership, launching developer-facing products with measurable impact.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development workflows, with hands-on coding experience or deep collaboration with engineering teams.
• AI Expertise: Practical experience with AI-driven developer tooling (LLM assistants, code generation) and the ability to reason about accuracy and safety trade-offs.
• Mindset: User-first mindset for internal users with strong data-driven decision-making skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience integrating tools with IDEs like VS Code or JetBrains.

Background in operating LLM-based services in production (e.g., vLLM, Triton, telemetry).
