Senior Customer Service Manager – German Speaking

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented service manager with fluent German skills who will coordinate service delivery, support technical planning, and manage the operational scope of the assigned service scope. This position requires strong communication skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for managing contract fulfillment with a focus on time, quality, and cost
  • Responsible for creating offers for contract renewals and simple contract expansions, as well as for escalation and claim management
  • Responsible and in charge of the end-to-end execution of standard farming and upselling
  • Responsible for identifying and managing opportunities in the contract-related standard/product business
  • Overall responsibility for individual contracts that combine multiple PU offers
  • Coordination of service delivery activities between organizational units and monitoring their work
  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines and expected service levels
  • Application of appropriate project management methods, tools, techniques, and processes
  • Management of financial and service-related reporting and the monthly billing process
  • Responsible for external and internal cost-saving initiatives as part of continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the IT industry, with experience in service delivery management
  • Language Skills

    • German: C1 (required)
    • English (desirable)

    Technical Skills

    • Good technical knowledge of Microsoft services, Azure, and M365
    • Solid understanding of the OS service portfolio or willingness to learn
    • Applied knowledge of ITIL and Agile concepts, with experience in process management
    • Experience in advanced contract management is desirable
    • Basic business understanding, including the ability to prepare business cases and perform offer/product calculations

    • Strong customer orientation with the ability to build and develop long-term customer relationships
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, also at management level
    • Proficient analytical and conceptual thinking
    • High flexibility, resilience, and commitment
