Production Support Specialist (f/m/x)

Job Description

You will be working in the Corporate Bank Production as a Production Support Specialist in the Payments domain. The Payments Production domain is part of Cash Management under Deutsche Bank Corporate Banking division which supports mission critical payments processing and FX platforms for multiple business lines like High Value/Low value/Bulk/Instant/Cheques payments. The team provides 24x7 support and follows 'follow the sun' model to provide exceptional and timebound services to the clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Partner with and influence stakeholders globally from development, infrastructure and production on risk identification, remediation solutions, and managing change conflicts to build momentum in optimizing the processes, platforms across Production.
• Develop a Continuous Service Improvement approach to resolve IT failings, drive efficiencies and remove repetition to streamline support activities, reduce risk, and improve system availability by understanding emerging trends and proactively addressing them.
• Manage SLO for Faster Resolution and Fewer Incident for the Production Application Stability.
• Responsible for day-to-day engineering support delivery task, using data and analytics, drive a reduction in technical debt across the production environment with development and infrastructure teams.
• Works with team members to identify areas of focus, where training may improve team performance, and improve incident resolution.
• Manage the team of vendor for creating the rota and day to day activities and establish the governance model to track progress of teams' performance.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science or similar degree with at least some years of professional experience on the job.
• In depth knowledge of application support and/or the development of complex IT infrastructure (UNIX, Databases, Middleware, Cloud, MQ etc.)
• In depth database knowledge (Oracle/MSSQL usw.), including experience in writing SQL-Skripts and -Queries.
• Professional experience with UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, Python, PowerShell-Skripten, Bash, Ansible und Automatisierungstools (RPA, Workload, Batch).
• Experience with Kaka, Kubernetes and Microservices is an advantage.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools like Geneos, Splunk, Grafana & New Relic, Scheduling-Tools (Control-M).
