• Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 Engineers (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that we support within Corporate Bank are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology supports these businesses through'vertical' CIO aligned teams and by 'horizontals' such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.
• Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals
• Building reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
• Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow
• Reviewing engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and improve engineering capability
• Participating in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools and solutions in the Bank.
• Good team player over different geographies.
• Promote and coach healthy communication in and around the team.
• Strong communication with stakeholders
• Take End to End responsibility from design to deployment through the environments all the way to production.

Your Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry with hands-on development in Java and SQL writing skills.
• Proficient in full stack development (Java, React, Angular 8+, Spring Boot etc)
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Google Cloud, OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes as well as exposure to a range of modern build tools, such as Maven, Jenkins
• Hands on development experience on Cloud based full stack application.
• Experience in python is desirable
• Experience with end-to-end design and delivery of solutions
• Experience in using AI tools
• Passionate about test driven Agile development
• Working knowledge of messaging (JMS, PubSub)
• Experience with Messaging and integration, Patterns, REST, SOA
• Strong hold on unit and integration testing
• Practices: Code Quality, Sonar, Veracode, Security, dev ops, Agile, CI & CD
