The Trade Advisor - Individualkundenbetreuung is the ambassador for Trade Finance Flow and the first point of contact as well as the face of the bank to its customers. For its portfolio, it identifies and evaluates the specific Trade Finance product and consulting needs and ensures excellent service to increase customer satisfaction / loyalty.

Your tasks

• Manages an individual customer portfolio, acts as the contact person for the customer around Trade Finance Flow products (one face to the customer/single point of contact) including client-sales team meetings
• Processes predominantly all products from the product portfolio "Documentary Business", "Aval", "Financings and Receivables Purchase (Factoring, Early Fulfillments, Transaction-related Financings) and "Working Capital"
• Maintains close, individual customer contact both via telephone, video conference, webcast or other digital media, as well as in person
• Conducts solution-oriented discussions with customers regarding our compliance requirements and ensures the implementation and, if necessary, escalation of transaction monitoring at the transaction
• Understands customer needs and advises on the full range of Trade Finance Flow products, developing cross-sales approaches
• Responsible for the overall responsibility for successful transaction processing, in particular in cooperation with the Center of Excellence and the processing center responsible for the operational implementation
• Responsible for the solution (including documentation) of customer complaints
• Identifies improvement opportunities in current and future transaction processing
• Holds specialist workshops tailored to the respective customer via digital media or directly at the customer's location

Your skills and experience

• Completed banking training, further qualification and/or study
• Experience in the field of Trade Finance as well as in the consulting of corporate clients
• Negotiation-confident verbal and written communication skills in German and English, knowledge of at least one other foreign language is an advantage
• High degree of initiative and assertiveness as well as commitment and resilience
• Proven flexibility and the ability to produce work results at a high quality level under time pressure
• Proactive, independent and structured work in cross-functional teams, across hierarchies, regions and time zones
• Openness to new challenges and the ability to independently acquire knowledge of topics
• Proven social competence, team and communication skills
